One of many old and lovely buildings in
Gdansk. Gdansk is where the Wisla meets the Baltic, an ancient Hanseatic port, one of Poland's most important cities. It was here Solidarity got it's start, in the shipyards. This building was a kind of town hall. Here in the fall of 1939 Hitler arrived & gave a speech, on the steps into this building, after his German troops had captured Gdansk.
